Using Social Networking sites to promote your website
Use of social networking websites can be an effective way of advertising your business. In the age of technology we live in it has been established by sites such as Myspace and Facebook that an awful lot of us now keep in touch via the world wide web. After signing up for both myspace and facebook I quickly learned that not only can profiles be used to keep in touch with family and friends, uploading pictures of the family and generally network with people I knew but I could also use them to promote my business to a much, much wider audience. Facebook seems ahead of the other sites in so much that it has integrated many features to help with promotion including, business cards that can be attached to your profile, pages that can be created specifically for your business that have discussion boards, reviews and much more. I have come across several people throughout my networking on these sites that are making a generous living by promoting their goods and websites on them and it may pay for some to take a more in depth look at what they could do for you.
